The hotel has a rolling programme of room refurbishment so changes are being made all the time and checks should be made on these developments when booking rooms. On the whole though, the award winning country house hotel offers fourteen delightful bedrooms. All of which vary in both size and quality to suit all tastes and budgets. The hotel has one large room on the ground floor which makes it more accessible for customers that may struggle with stairs as the nature of the building does not allow for a lift to be installed. The rest of the rooms are on the first and second floors. All of the rooms, regardless of their size and title, are furnished to a standard that one would expect of a three star, gold award hotel. The main aim of the hotel is to make sure that customers are comfortable and introduce them to the traditional charm of the Lakeland character of the area and the building, whilst offering the guests a contemporary style.
